Varna Airport's official car parks sit directly in front of Terminal 2, the building that handles the airport's summer charter traffic. There are two of them — Car Park 1 with 490 spaces and Car Park 2 with 194 — both run by Fraport Bulgaria, open around the clock and a short walk from the check-in desks. The two car parks
Car Park 1 (490 spaces) and Car Park 2 (194 spaces) are open-air and sit right in front of Terminal 2, so the walk from your car to the terminal is short and no shuttle is needed. Terminal 2 handles the seasonal charter flights that run from June to September, while Terminal 1 operates year-round; parking is busiest during that summer window, when an off-site lot is worth considering if the on-site spaces fill up.
Grace period and payment
Every vehicle gets a free 10-minute grace period, and it can be used up to twice within any 24 hours — enough for most pick-ups and drop-offs. Validating the ticket at a pay machine adds another 5 minutes, once per visit. When it is time to pay you have several options: the four automated pay machines on site, the URBO app, or the attended booth at the exit. Lost tickets and the parking office
A lost or destroyed ticket is charged from the verified entry time, with a minimum of €15 / 29.34 BGN, so keep the ticket safe. For anything the machines cannot handle — invoices, subscriptions, or a lost-ticket case — the parking office is on the first floor of Terminal 1, open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.
