Free minutes at Varna Airport car parks

Every driver entering Car Park 1 or Car Park 2 at Terminal 2 gets a free window before the meter starts. It is short, it can be extended once, and it can be used twice a day — the details decide whether a pick-up costs nothing or turns into a paid hour.

The first 10 minutes are free

The clock starts the moment the barrier issues your ticket, not when you park. The first 10 minutes carry no charge, and the allowance resets so that it can be used twice within 24 hours — enough for one drop-off and one pick-up on the same day.

Both official car parks sit directly in front of Terminal 2: Car Park 1 with 490 spaces and Car Park 2 with 194, both under CCTV and staffed around the clock.

Validating the ticket adds five minutes

If you validate the ticket before the 10 minutes run out, you get 5 minutes more. This extension works once per visit, so it buys time for a slow suitcase, not for waiting on a delayed flight.

Drivers with a disabled badge have a longer allowance: up to 40 minutes free, granted against identification.

What it costs once the free time ends

After the grace period the standard tariff of 13 July 2026 applies: €2.50 for each started hour, €24 for a full day. In the Premium zone right at the terminal the step is €3 per 30 minutes for the first four hours.

Pay at one of the four machines on site, in the URBO app or at the exit booth. Prices are published in euro with the lev equivalent at the fixed rate of 1.95583. A lost ticket is charged from the verified entry time, with a minimum of €15 / 29.34 BGN.
