East Rent Parking at Varna Airport
East Rent is one of the better-known off-site car parks serving Varna Airport (VAR), and one of the few near the terminal that offers both covered parking and a meet-and-greet service. The main lot sits a few kilometres from Terminal 2 with a free shuttle included, and bookings are handled through the international platform ParkVia. This page covers what East Rent offers, how secure the site is, and how it compares with the official Fraport car parks.
Facilities and security
The main East Rent lot is open-air but fully fenced, with CCTV, motion sensors, well-lit premises and a 24/7 on-site attendant. The operator points to its location near Varna's central police station as an added security consideration for the area. On the day of your trip a free shuttle runs from the lot to Terminal 2 and back, so the car stays on the secured site for the whole stay. East Rent carries a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 120 reviews on ParkVia as of mid-2025.
Covered parking and car wash
For travellers who want the car under cover, East Rent operates a separate underground bay inside a nearby apartment building, roughly 500 metres from the main lot. Capacity there is limited and the bay is booked separately, so reserve early if you need it — it is one of only two covered options near VAR. The lot also offers interior and exterior car wash for an extra cost, which you can add when you book.
Meet-and-greet and booking
Meet-and-greet is available for an additional charge: a driver collects your car at Terminal 2 departures, parks it at the East Rent facility, and returns it to arrivals when you land. It has to be arranged in advance rather than on the day. Booking for the standard lot and the extra services runs through ParkVia, where you can check availability and current rates before you travel.
Compared with the official car parks
Against the official Fraport car parks, East Rent trades a short shuttle ride for a lower multi-day rate and the option of covered or valet-style parking that the open-air terminal lots cannot match. For a quick drop-off the official car parks still make more sense; from a couple of days upward the off-site lot usually costs less.
